There are many of things to do at a camp but sometimes it's very tough to think of things to do after you're shelter is up and wood has been made. i have a few things that are my favorite things to do.
1. Go for a snowshoe walk and explore; going for a hike is a great way to clear your mind and get some exercise. One time we took a whole after noon dedicated to walking in the bush, climbing cliffs and following the river that cuts through the property.
2. Play some games; when camping with groups it's lots of fun to find games to play or tell stories.
3. Learn techniques; the sharing of skills can be so useful and fun out in the field, explaining is one thing but actually doing it in the bush is way more fun.
4. Find cool and innovative ways to improve your camp site; adding the finishing touches to your site can be a great and effective way to spend your time, a reflector fire or pine bows on your bed can be effective and useful pass time.
5. Climb a tree; the best trees are found in the middle of the bush, the forest is there for you and make it what you want it, so find a tre and go nuts.
